WINDSOR CASTLE was the center of British government since 1066.

The British planned part of the 1815 mainland Europe military campaign against Napoleon Bonaparte, at Windsor Castle, England.

French domination of European lands, under Napoleon's rule,  used a legal system which harmed many European economies.

The June 18th, 1815, Battle of Waterloo, decided the fate of the world.

Clear military judgments, and the ability to work with Prussian {German} allies, caused the British to defeat the French at the Battle of Waterloo.

The British government later issued a Battle of Waterloo Victory Medal.

Windsor Castle was designed for fortress science for technology of the period.

Towers were placed near fortified gates of Windsor Castle, making it possible for defenders to fire cross-bows, small cannons, hand-cannons, and muskets, at attackers who attempted to storm well fortified Windsor Castle gates.

Towers were also located close to gates in order to, hurl large stones, and burning oil upon attackers.

Castle towers provided great support systems for defenders below, firing streams of musket balls upon attackers from above, as the defenders engaged the enemy directly at lower levels.

The tower was a strategic point of all castles.

Windsor Castle from inside the walls.

These walls of Windsor Castle have actual gun-ports dating back to the middle ages.

These gun ports made it possible to fire a cross-bow, small cannon, hand cannon, or a musket from a very well protect position within the Windsor Castle walls, at attackers below.

Windsor Castle was first constructed as a fighting fortress, to be able to, create a high level volume of cross fire with arrows and/or cannon-musket rounds, from well protected ports of fire, at attackers below.

Castle technology of the Middle Ages involved a series of traps for any enemy who came close to the outer walls, and for any attacker who was successful to penetrate outer defenses.
